The department admits 160 students each admission cycle. Last year, 355 students were admitted from 524 applications. That is an admission rate of 67 percent.
I felt pretty lucky. Couldn't believe they took a chance on an old hag in her fourth year of college. Must of blew 'em away with my short essays. Or my good looks.
